When the stagnant medium in the valve cavity abnormally increases pressure due to temperature change, the medium pressure pushes the valve seat away from the ball to achieve the effect of automatic pressure relief, and the valve seat automatically resets after pressure relief.
In addition to the general sealing of the valve seat, the special sealing structure can play an emergency rescue role when the sealing ring is damaged and leakage occurs.
When fire or abnormal temperature causes the valve seat seal to burn or soften. The valve operation remained reliable, while the valve seat and the ball formed metal to metal, achieving a temporary sealing effect, preventing further expansion of the fire, in accordance with the AP16FA regulations.
